Topic of the Month: Planning for the COVID Marathon

Oct 01, 2020 01:11PM ● By Editor

From Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Public Health and Human Services - October 1, 2020

We started this race unsure of how far away the finish line was.
Today, we understand that this is no sprint; this is a marathon like nothing we’ve ever known.

In some ways, we were fortunate that we got to run the first leg of the COVID marathon in the comfort of summertime. Now we must take what we’ve learned and use it to make plans for the next leg of the race, the one that will be run in the cold and damp, in the snow and ice.

Check out this month's newsletter to learn:

  • How to use a "Wellness Wheel" to take inventory of your needs and resources
  • Ways to use that inventory to identify small changes that can have big payoffs this winter
  • What the term "harm reduction" means and how it fits in with your COVID marathon planning

Hope for the best, but plan for the rest!

To help yourself get ready to run the winter leg of your own COVID marathon, read October's Topic of the Month here.

Remember - we have a
library of newsletters that cover topics from "SOAR SMART Goal Setting" to "Positive Psychology" and a whole lot more.  Check it out!
