Super One Foods announced on Facebook Thursday that masks will be required at all of their Super One Foods & Super One Liquor locations, effective immediately.

Masks or face coverings must completely cover the nose and mouth while in-store. Single-use masks will be available at the service counter for $1.

Super One listed the following exemptions to their policy:

  • Customers who have a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a face covering will be exempt.
  • Any individual who is hearing impaired, or communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication may also be exempt.

Super One also listed exemptions in regards to children for Minnesota & Wisconsin:

  • Those ten and older must wear a mask. If between 2 and 10, it is strongly encouraged to wear a mask.

And, Super One listed exemptions in regards to children for Michigan:

  • The requirement to wear a face covering does not apply to individuals who are younger than five years old, though children two years old and older are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering, pursuant to guidance from the CDC.
Super One joins many major retailers to announce mask requirements this week including Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, Best Buy, Target, CVS and Kroger stores.
