Sunny and warm on Tuesday, storms may arrive Tuesday night

Mostly sunny skies will be seen across the Northland Tuesday as high pressure moves through. Highs will reach into the upper 70s to upper 80s and it will be less humid as well.

A warm front will lift into the region overnight and bring an increase in clouds. Showers and storms will become possible after midnight and a few may be strong to severe from the Brainerd Lakes area to the western Iron Range in the hours before sunrise. Large hail and damaging winds will be possible will this activity along with heavy downpours. Lows Tuesday night will be in the upper 50s and 60s.
