One injured in Cabin Fire in Greenwood Township

An early morning cabin fire in Greenwood Township Saturday left one injured.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the call for the fire on the 4200 block of Nelson Road at approximately 7:50am.

Authorities say six people were inside the cabin when it caught fire.

All six exited the cabin to safety, but one individual went back inside where he was injured, sustaining burns and non-life threatening injuries.

The injured party was air lifted to Miller Dwan in Duluth.

The incident remains under investigation at this time.
