From the Cook County Highway Department - May 14, 2020

Seasonal load restrictions will end on the following Cook County gravel roads effective at 12:01 am on Friday, May 15, 2020. Legal weight trucks will be able to use these roads unless otherwise posted:

• CSAH 13
• CR 28 
• CR 34
• CR 35
• CR 37 
• CR 40 
• CR 41 
• CR 67 
• CR 95 

The Highway Department expects restrictions on all other gravel roads to remain in effect next week as they continue to thaw. The condition of gravel roads will continue to be inspected daily, and weight restrictions on each road will be removed as soon as conditions allow.

Haulers are asked to be mindful of posted bridges, which have year-round varying load restrictions, on some Cook County Highways. Any questions can be directed to the Highway Department at 387-3014.
