Community members from all corners of Cook County joined a School Bus Parade on Monday sponsored by Cook County Schools to celebrate students and teachers and the school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Students and teachers were challenged to deal with the physical closing of all school facilities in mid-March.  Since then interactions have been limited to distance learning.

However, many school services continued during the school closing - Bus drivers are still on the road delivering lesson plans, classroom materials and meals.  The school kitchen staff has still been busy preparing meals for students who qualify for support.

As everyone connected to the schools's physical closing and distance learning - students, parents, teachers, bus drivers, kitchen workers and other staff members - were saluted during Monday's parade.  Go Vikings!
