From The Cook County Chamber of Commerce - May 4, 2020

As businesses across Cook County prepare to re-open their businesses, the Cook County Chamber of Commerce notified members Monday that local Cook County organizations have prepared valuable documents with guidance for re-opening their businesses.

The first - "Best Practices COVID-19 Reopening" - was developed by Linda Jurek and the staff and board at Visit Cook County. It covers best practices for a large variety of businesses. It is a living document and will likely get updated. You can always find the current version at visitcookcounty.com. Besides a great deal of valuable guidance, it contains at the front a well-crafted notice to visitors and a valuable message from our medical community.  The document is also enclosed as a PDF in this article.

The second guidance is "Shared Employee Housing Safety Considerations During COVID-19." This document offers guidance on how to welcome back summer workers who are coming from around the country and how to safely put them up in shared housing. This guide owes a great deal to Grace Grinager at Cook County Public Health and Clare Shirley at Sawbill Canoe Outfitters.  The document is also enclosed as a PDF in this article.
