17-Year-Old Male Found Deceased in Lutsen
Apr 12, 2020 12:41PM ● By EditorApril 12, 2020 – At approximately 8:30 am, on Saturday, April 11, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, Lutsen First Responders, North Shore Health Ambulance and MN DNR Conservation Officer responded to 5339 West Hwy 61 for a report of a non-responsive 17-year-old male for suspected suicide.
CPR was attempted, but the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene. Initial investigation indicates suicide by hanging but results from the Medical Examiner will confirm exact cause of death.
The individual was staying at the home of a friend and was found non-responsive upon waking in the morning. Cook County Search & Rescue assisted with transport to hospital.
