Cook County healthcare facilities update COVID-19 face mask template

Cook County’s healthcare facilities have updated the pattern recommended for COVID-19 hand sewn protective masks.

Cook County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Incident Co-Commander Grace Grinager said that the refinement request occurred during a briefing with local healthcare directors on Sunday. 

“Healthcare needs are being refined as the situation evolves,” Grinager stated. “The updated mask recommendation has been developed utilizing input from staff. We ask that individuals creating hand sewn masks utilize the following guide. 

Instructions are as follows:

Masks may be delivered by contacting the EOC donations manager at 218-387-3638 or [email protected]. Phone and emails will be answered between 8 a.m. and  4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drop-offs will be accepted by appointment only between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays.
