Avoid snowmelt flooding

A strong spring storm system will bring a decent amount of rainfall to portions of the Northland, particularly over northwest Wisconsin and adjacent areas of northeast Minnesota, today through Sunday. The heaviest precipitation is expected this evening through Sunday morning. The rainfall, on top of melting snow, could lead to some minor flooding. Here are some tips for how to prepare for this flooding around your house. Check to make sure your sump pump is working!
