Cook County Chamber website posting business information impacts of COVID-19

From the Cook County Chamber of Commerce - March 19, 2020

Information valuable to local business owners is coming hot and heavy from state and federal sources. Rather than flood your email with messages, I am trying to devise a system for getting that info to you in ways easier to access. I have now made posts on the topics listed above on both the Chamber website and the Chamber Facebook page.

The website page devoted to this information is available here:  https://cookcountychamber.org/staying_alive_through_covid

The Chamber's Facebook page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/cookcountychamber.MN

Business owners: It is in everyone's interest that we help keep as many local businesses open and serving the public as possible while preserving public health. That will help everyone get through this difficult period, and it could help keep businesses alive that otherwise might go under -- a real risk.

If you are open and need help or would like to re-open, please email your problems and concerns to [email protected]
We will post the issues and answers on our website, where we have created a special page: Stayin Alive: Getting your business through COVID-19.

Do you need help figuring out this social distancing issue, for example, or could you use help with signs or other educational materials to help instruct your customers in new behaviors? Are you moving to take out or curbside delivery and need help thinking through the logistics?

The Chamber is working with the county public health department to marshal supports where possible to help keep our community businesses open. We cannot promise we will have a solution for your issue, but we will try to find one. Perhaps another business has come up with a work-around that might help you. We will ask. We are all in this together.
