March 13, 2020 – At 12:49 am, overnight, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch received a report of a 91-year-old male missing in the Lutsen area. Cook County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Search & Rescue, North Shore Health Ambulance and Lutsen First Responders responded. Reporting parties believe the party, Edward Stark of Lutsen, had left the house sometime during the night. A search was conducted and he was located at 1:43 am, within a 100-yard radius of the residence. No pulse was detected, and CPR was administered. At 2:16 am, Mr Stark was declared deceased. An autopsy will be completed at the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office to determine cause of death. No further information is available at this time.
