Cinderella Tales remaining performances are cancelled

From the Grand Marais Playhouse - March 14, 2020

The Grand Marais Playhouse is a community theater and in this difficult time we must take precautions to protect our community. We will follow the recommendations of the MN Department of Health and cancel the remaining performances of Cinderella Tales.

Without the ability to see into the future, postponing the production is not a possibility as we do not know when it will be safe to gather in large groups again. The ACA has other renters and school use scheduled through May and gathering the cast together again will be difficult due to a variety of scheduling conflicts.

We  are glad we got to perform twice to very appreciative audiences. The journey through play production brings many benefits beyond performance and I hope we can celebrate that. We are very proud of this cast and crew and all the community members that helped make it happen.

We look forward to the Grand Marais Playhouse’s expanding educational programing and the multiple opportunities that lie ahead for these young performers.

If you purchased a ticket for Saturday or Sunday, your ticket will be refunded but we would like to ask you to please consider donating the cost of the ticket and/or making a special donation to help the Playhouse get through this tough time.

Sincerely The Grand Marais Playhouse Board and Staff
