Caring Presentation Held at Cook County Schools

Principal Megan Myers really showed what Cook County Schools is all about on Friday morning during a presentation to the Sawtooth Elementary students. The theme of the month is caring, something that the community has witnessed firsthand since Principal Megan joined the staff.
Megan talked about how students show caring by displaying kindness and concern for others. She talked to the students about people in their lives who care for them, including teachers, family, doctors and nurses, and teammates.
Students excitedly raised their hands to share ways that they show caring to others. Three simple words, "I am here", are a way to show support. Students then took turns talking about ways that they will they will continue to show caring ways to others when they leave the auditorium. A short video, Kitbull, was played. The tale of Kitbull is of a friendship between two opposites, a kitten and a pit bull.
February students of the month were also announced and are listed below:
