The ALS Blizzard Tour wrapped up on Saturday, with yet another successful year.

The ride is about 380 miles around Lake Superior, broken up into three days of riding with about 250 riders in total.

The ALS Blizzard Tour started in 1999 as a snowmobile ride to honor a friend, and Greg Sorenson was one of the very first people who went on that ride.

"The people. Without question, it's the people. We've been together for 21 years some of us. We're a huge family. We always say that we hope this is our last ride, that we never have to do this again, because they find a cure for ALS. But I was just thinking, what are we gonna do then? I would be heartbroken to not be able to hang out with these people every year," said Sorenson.

Of the $1,000,000 goal, they're 96 percent of the way there.
