On Monday afternoon, the Cook County Schools gym was filled with students, staff, and community members who gathered to thank the local Veterans for their service and sacrifice for our community and the entire nation.
The guest speaker was Theodore Rex, a Hovland resident who served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army.
The Cook County Middle and High School choir gave thanks to Veterans through several beautiful songs that they sang, and the Cook County High School Band performed several moving tributes as well. The program concluded with Jonah Schmidt playing Taps as the Honor Guard dismissed.

To all who have served, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
