Amanda Carlson is the new preschool teacher at Cook County Schools this year.  Prior to joining the ISD 166 staff, she worked for the YMCA daycare.  

An interesting fact about Amanda is that she has both a massage therapy and medical assistant degree.  She and her husband moved here from Superior about 7 years ago. Their daughter started her first year at Cook County Schools this year.  

Amanda loves to travel, camp, be outdoors, and spend time with family and friends.  According to Amanda, the people and the small community are her favorite parts about living in Cook County.   Amanda said that "I am so happy to be the new preschool teacher. Kids are my passion!"
