Community members are invited to come to North Shore Health to learn more about their facility and service offerings right here in Cook County. There will be an opportunity to ask questions from Kimber Wraalstad, who is the Administrator/CEO of North Shore Health. These North Shore Health updates will be held on Tuesday, October 1st at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at North Shore Health.

 North Shore Health is a rural health care facility that offers the following right here in Cook County:

• 16 bed critical access hospital
• 37 bed skilled nursing facility
• Home Health agency
• Ambulance service
• A variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services

According to Kimber Wraalstad, “North Shore Health strives to meet our Mission of Community Access to Compassion Care by providing as many services as possible here in Cook County.  We have the Emergency Department, Ambulance, Home Care, Care Center, Lab, Radiology and Rehab Services so Community Members and visitors are able to receive needed services.  With this in mind, a Chemotherapy program has recently been developed to help cancer patients obtain therapy while reducing their trips out of the County.  The employees of North Shore Health are here to provide Community Access to Compassion Care”.
