Topic of the Month: How to get good at failing

From Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Public Health and Human Services - September 3, 2019

We fear being seen as incompetent. We dread that sick feeling of letting someone down. We hide our failures by shoving them to the back of our hearts and minds, trying to never think of them, and certainly never talking about them.
What would happen if we shifted our individual and collective opinion of failure and began to see it as something to be explored, encouraged, and even celebrated?

The flip-side of September's TOM is "After the Fail:  How to Apologize (and if you should!)"
It explores:

  • why we would apologize,
  • if we should apologize or not, and
  • how to apologize effectively.
