Media Release from Adventure Park on the North Shore - August 28, 2019

Donating tickets to help greater Duluth nonprofit organizations with their fundraising efforts is important at The Adventure Park on the North Shore, the popular outdoor zip line and climbing venue located at 42 Outer Drive, Silver Bay, Minnesota that opened in May. Since then it has donated tickets to the Park to organizations nearby and in greater Duluth who use the tickets in their fund-raising efforts. And the requests continue to come in.

Recipient categories include museums, schools, community organizations, public libraries, hospitals, food banks, parent teacher organizations, athletic organizations, and others. Most of the recipients are 501(c)(3) nonprofits that use the tickets in fund-raising auctions or similar activities.

To further help recipients with their fundraising event The Adventure Park also supplies a display package along with the tickets. This typically includes a table-top poster, a quantity of 6 x 9-inch information cards and a sample ticket for display purposes.

- About The Adventure Park -
The Adventure Park features a special combination experience of zip lines mixed with challenge bridges among the trees that keeps people coming back for more. The Park's friendly staff is available to answer questions and assist from the moment customers arrive to the moment they conclude their climb and return home with satisfied "I did it!" smiles.

The Adventure Park is not one single aerial treetop trail but a variety of different, color-coded aerial trails of differing challenge levels—beginner through expert—that climbers choose from depending on their age or climbing experience. There are trails suitable for kids, teens, adults and groups. These trails consist of platforms installed among the trees and connected by various configurations of cable, wood and rope to form "crossings" of different kinds including the ever-popular zip lines. Climbers wear harnesses which are doubly secured to safety cables using the Park's "always locked on" system of interlocking safety clips. Before venturing onto the trails climbers receive an interactive orientation and practice session.

The Adventure Park on the North Shore was designed, built and is operated by Outdoor Ventures for Adventure Investors Minnesota, an Opportunity Fund business in Duluth.
