Mostly sunny with record cold high temperatures Tuesday

Lake Effect snow over the South Shore of Lake Superior and parts of northwest Wisconsin will come to an end this morning, with additional amounts of 1 to 2 inches possible. Only flurries are expected this afternoon.

Elsewhere today it will be cold and mostly sunny, with some record cold high temperatures possible once again. Highs should range from 12 to 22 degrees. Tonight and Wednesday, snow moves in from the west, to affect central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin with 1 to 2 inches possible. Lows tonight should range from 5 to 15 degrees, then rise to highs on Wednesday from 22 to near 30.
