Woman Injured in Fall at Gooseberry Falls State Park

A woman was flown to a hospital after falling at Gooseberry Falls State Park over the weekend.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office says the 20-year-old woman fell about 30 feet on Saturday night. The fall happened in the lower falls area of the park.
Life Link flew the woman to a Duluth hospital for treatment.
The sheriff's office said in a Monday news release that the extent of the women's injuries is not known. Her name and hometown were not released.
A DNR spokesperson said she does not have any additional information on the incident.
