Cabin Being Moved Falls on Man near Tower

A man has been rescued following a building collapse on the Iron Range shortly after 6:00 p.m Sunday. a St. Louis County Sheriff's official says.

St. Louis County Deputy Sheriff Cody Dillinger tells WDIO News the man was trying to move a 12' x 16' cabin located on Daisy Bay Resort on Lake Vermilion when the cabin fell off the jacks, trapping the man underneath. 

He was removed, and was transported to a hospital where he is said to be "conscious and alert." .

Tower Ambulance, Virginia Ambulance, Tower Fire, Greenwood Township First Responders, Tower Fire Department, St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, Greenwood Fire, and Pike Sandy Fire responded.
