New Adventure Park in Silver Bay Opens Memorial Day Weekend

The Adventure Park on the North Shore
, a new kind of recreational experience combining zip lines with ropes course climbing, is coming to Silver Bay, Minnesota. Set to open at 42 Outer Drive at 3:00 PM on May 24, 2019, It will ontinue with a full daily schedule for the rest of the Memorial Day weekend. 

Located on about four acres of the forested hillside, clearly viewable from Highway 61, The Adventure Park will be the largest attraction of its kind on the North Shore. The park will also offer electric bike rentals so visitors can take advantage of up to 30 miles of riding on the paved Gitchi-Gami State bike trail, connecting Silver Bay to two state parks.  

 

– Fun for Kids, Teens, Adults & Groups –
The Park will feature a selection of six different color-coded "aerial climbing trails" which offer zip lines and climbing challenges suitable for ages 7 through adult. Plus, a trail just for the youngest climbers, age 3 - 6: "The Adventure Playground." 

Climbers proceed from platform to platform on these trails, across various bridges and zip lines. The trails are graded according to challenge difficulty, from that suitable for three-year-old children at about two feet off the ground, to advanced trails for the more athletic at 40 feet off the ground, with a wide selection of intermediate trails to choose from. 

Non-climbing family and friends are admitted free of charge to share the experience from the ground paths and at the picnic tables and seating provided.
