Prescribed Burn at Seagull Helispot scheduled Monday

The Gunflint Ranger District is planning on burning the Seagull Helispot sometime today as conditions allow. The area consists of a quarter of an acre of grass and is located near the Seagull Guard Station.
The purpose of the burn is to maintain the opening for helicopter usage.
