Media Release from the Johnson Heritage Post Gallery - March 21, 2019

The 2019 PAGM Application is now published on OPM's updated web site. APPLY NOW for the Competition or Open Class, and visit our web site often. Additional information will be posted as the schedule is developed.

Here are some highlights for 2019:

• Joshua Cunningham has agreed to be our Competition juror. He will be teaching a painting workshop at the Grand Marais Art Colony September 14-15, the weekend after our Friday reception.
• Juried Competition applications will be sent to a three-member selection committee: Marc Anderson, Lori Beringer, and a Grand Marais arts professional.
• The DEADLINE for juried Competition applications is 11:59pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Our goal is to have all Competition artists confirmed by May 1.
• Competition applicants have the option to participate in the Open Class if not selected for the Competition and be on a wait-list in case of availability. This helps ensure a full Competition and creates opportunities for emerging artists.
• The Competition wait-list will be first come, first served, so don't wait – apply now!

If you have received a formal invitation (i.e., mini-workshop instructors) to be a Competition Artist and have not yet confirmed, please do so by submitting the application by April 23 so our selection committee knows how many spots are available for juried applicants to the Competition.
