Brian Miller joined the staff of Cook County Schools this fall, teaching Social Studies to 6th to 8th grade students.  According to Brian, the best part of his job is definitely working with the kids, as "seeing their eyes light up when they figure out a tough question is the best."

Brian grew up just outside of Duluth.  After high school, he attended the University of Minnesota - Morris.  Go Cougars!  Brian and his fiancee, Alex, hope to be here for a long time.  An interesting fact about Brian is that even though he studies world cultures as a Social Studies teacher, he has never been outside of the country.

Brian said that the best advice he was ever given was "Listen to your parents, as they are usually right".  Many parents will smile and nod their heads in agreement with this one!

Welcome to Cook County, Mr. Miller.  We are very glad to have you here!
