Maggie Friedrichs is in her 4th year of teaching Spanish/ESL courses at Cook County Schools.   According to Maggie, connecting with students is her favorite part of her job, as they inspire and teach her every day.

Maggie grew up in Maple Grove and went to Osseo High School.   She attended college at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls and studied abroad in Spain. 

In her spare time, Maggie is a “rockhound” and loves collecting rocks and minerals.  She also makes jewelry and has an Etsy shop. 

Maggie said that the best advice she every received was “Be yourself”!
