MN DNR reminds skiers that Ski Passes are required

Jan 02, 2019 07:50AM ● By Editor

Skiiers, take note! If you are 16 or older, you must have a Great Minnesota Ski Pass to ski on groomed trails in Minnesota state parks or state forests, or on state or grant-in-aid trails. Sign your ski pass and be sure to carry it with you every time you go skiing.

Your ski pass fee helps support Minnesota's cross-country ski trail system. Thanks!

*Use a self-registration kiosk to buy your ski pass if no one is in the park office. Follow the instructions on the self-registration form, put your cash, check, or credit card information for the correct amount in the envelope, and deposit it into the self-registration slot. Keep a "customer copy" section of the form as your receipt and proof of purchase, so you can start skiing right away. Keep this with you while you ski, and hang onto it until your ski pass arrives in the mail (in approximately two weeks). Purchase a daily, one-year, or three-year ski pass using self-registration.
