August 13, 2018 – Due to the Cook County Commissioners Room at the Courthouse being used as a polling location on Tuesday, Aug. 14, the regular Board of Commissioners Meeting will be held in the ITV room across the hall.
For this meeting only, the Board Meeting will not be livestreamed as the ITV is not equipped with the streaming technology that is mounted in the Commissioners Room; however, the meeting will be recorded and available following the meeting within 24 hours.
The audio and video may look different than the usual video footage due to the venue and technology change. The Board Meeting is still open to the public and begins at 8:30 am.
Polling Location Information
The Commissioners Room is the polling location for Grand Marais East.
The Cook County Community Center is the polling place for Grand Marais West.
The County Auditor’s office is the polling place for all other 11 precincts.
All polling locations are open from 7 am – 8 pm.
We expect City precinct results to be available by 9 pm, and mail ballot precinct results will be available following as tabulations are complete. Results available on County website at and Secretary of State website at www.sos.state.mn.us
