
Cook County Higher Education (CCHE) is pleased to announce the creation of a new scholarship available to distance education and
on-campus students from Cook County. This trade focused scholarship is named in honor of the late Michel S. Beaupre, a long-time
resident of Cook County. Mr. Beaupre worked as the Cook County electrical inspector for the State of Minnesota from 2002 until his
death in July 2005. Mr. Beaupre was proud of his trade and encouraged young people to go into the trades.
The Michel S. Beaupre Scholarship is a $250 scholarsip awarded to a Cook County applicant interested in pursing a trade
degree or diploma. One $250 award is made per year. Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
Scholarship Deadline: March 15
Awards are made payable directly to the college or university. Scholarship applications can be obtained from Cook County Higher
Education at 387-3411, from the Cook County High School counselor's office, or by filling out the
online application .
We need your help to provide this scholarship to the community!
Who May Apply: High School seniors (as of the application deadline) and adults in the community.
Applications are accepted from January 1 through March 15 of each year.
