The New Computer Lab and Study Room

Three Scholarships for distance education students living in Cook County: Wes Hedstrom Scholarship, Michel S. Beaupre Trade Scholarship (also available for on-campus Cook County students), and Textbook Scholarship.
Lake County residents can apply for the Clair Nelson Vocational Scholarship.

Testing Services: Cook County Higher Education is a free test center for the following tests: Praxis, College Assessment (which incldes Lake Superior College, Hibbing Community College, Duluth Business University,
and other regional colleges), online tests, ServSafe certification, and distance learning national colleges and univeristies. Please call if you have a test you need to take -- it is possible we can serve as your test center!

Cook County Higher Education (CCHE) is located in an isolated rural wilderness area on the far north shore of Lake Superior.
Mission Statement: CCHE is a community-based program that focuses on rural access to higher education that could not otherwise be obtained.
Goal: To contribute to the region's sustainability by providing opportunities for higher education that result in living-wage employment and an educated
workforce that meets the needs of a highly diverse community.
