Online Books, Texts, Journals, and Newspapers
Check out these sites for new and used textbooks:
www.alibris.com Great source for used books. They do not include reviews of books (like Amazon and Barns and Noble do), so you really need to know the title, author, and ISBN to be sure that you are purchasing what you need. Be wary! College courses frequently require a specific textbook edition (such as 4th edition), and you do not want to make the mistake of purchasing an older 2nd or 3rd edition!
www.amazon.com Used books are available via auctions and in z-stores.
www.barnsandnoble.com Click on the "Used Textbook" section.
www.bookfinder.com Another source for used books.
www.bookfinder4u.com New, used, rare, and out-of-print books. Includes book cover images and reviews, both of which are very helpful!
www.powells.com New and used books.
