Speculations in Time: Contemporary Approaches to Working from the Landscape March 17 | 2:00 pm David’s residency focuses on furthering four related bodies of work that explore flux in the landscape: Land Harps, Collaboration Drawings, Color Studies, and Current Castings. Expanding on the traditions of perceptually-based location painting and drawing, David explores intersections with sculpture and digital practices such as sound and video. He will share about his artistic investigations which are thematically focused on the unique sense of time within landscapes and the temporary and fragile nature of existence.
