Weaving with Birch Bark

This skill share is part of the Fall Series Community Programs at North House Folk School. November 2 from 7 - 9pm All Ages (14 and up must bring an adult) Cost: $5; drop-in, no pre-registration required The Birch tree is a beloved and beautiful fixture of the Northwoods. Driving along 61, walking through the Superior National Hiking Trail, the soft hues of the bark make us all feel at home. At this skillshare, learn how to create a sheath for your carving knives or a cardholder using basic weaving techniques. You will leave with a practical object, knowledge on how to continue weaving independently and a reminder of the great North woods.
