Annual Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner for the Cook County Historical Society will be held on September 21 at St. John’s Catholic Church. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED BY SEPTEMBER 12. Dinner is catered by Alyce’s and cost is $25/person. The price of your dinner helps to provide a free dinner for our volunteers – who we very much appreciate!

Entrées: “3P” (pork tenderloin stuffed with hot Italian sausage and wrapped in bacon); Turkey Tetrazzini

Sides: Whipped Potatoes; Herbed Spätzle; Chef’s Choice Vegetables

Also Included: Garden Salad, Rolls and Butter, Dessert, Beverage

The meeting will be at 5:00 with dinner around 5:30 and a program immediately following. Dan Helmerson will present the story of Forest Ranger Harry Helmerson’s time guiding a reporter through the wilderness in 1917. We hope you will attend!
