Empty Bowls Dinner and Silent Auction

Description:

12% of Cook County residents go hungry every month. To address this need, each year the Art Colony co-organizes the Empty Bowls Dinner and Silent Auction: a community art fundraiser to alleviate local hunger needs.

Help make bowls to donate to this event while learning the basics of pottery and fused glass. Open to all levels and ages. Pre-registration is Required for the Bowl making sessions.

Make or Paint-a-Bowl:

September 25 - October 29

Make-a-Bowl: Clay

Mondays: September 25 & October 2

6:30 – 7:30 pm & 7:45 – 8:45 pm

Tuition: $5/session

Saturdays: September 30, October 7 & 21

3 – 4 pm & 4:15 – 5:15pm

Make-a-Bowl: Glass

October 24 & 25 | 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Tuition: $5

Paint-a-Bowl

October 29 | 11 am – 2 pm

Tuition: $5

Serving Lunch & Dinner at the St. John's Catholic Church with hand-crafted community-made bowls in effort to raise funds to alleviate hunger in Cook County.

Lunch | 11 am - 1 pm

Dinner | 5 - 7pm

Soup: $5

Ceramic bowls = $10

Glass bowls = $20
