MN Woodcut Art Workshop
The Grand Marais Public Library is pleased to present MN Woodcut with artist Sarah Guy-Levar, a free program being offered for ages 10-adult. Class size is limited to 15 participants so call the library, 218-387-1140, to register.
Create a MN Woodcut with an iconic lake scene. Learn about cold press ground and enjoy painting your own unique design in watercolor paint. Each participant will take home their own 7” creation.
As part of the workshop Sarah teaches basic color theory and color mixing practices to introduce students to the concept of using three primary colors to create a multitude of color combinations.
Join us for an exciting watercolor and woodcut lesson. Levar lives and works in Ely.
This program, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
