1% tax uses

There are a number currently discussed community projects that would benefit from this funding such as: the library expansion, the pool, the marina.

There may also be other things that we can do to be a more vibrant community.  What about a transit system to interconnect the east end, west end and Gunflint Trail to Grand Marais?  What about basic infrastructure?  Have you tried to roller-blade on some of the sidewalks around here?

I'm sure others also have many more ideas.

Technology infastructure.  There are many reasons that could be out-lined but here's one:

Improve the ability to connect with high speeds to the internet or to other networks in the county.  This would provide a big improvement to those living in the county as well as guests who visit the area and improve the selling points for new industry who are considering locating in our county.
