The Boreal Access Story
Boreal Access is a nonprofit community organization formed to provide affordable Internet access, services and support to organizations, educational institutions, individuals, and businesses in Cook County, the Tip of the Arrowhead region of Minnesota. We provide a full range of services, including community news and information, classified ads, computer repair, dial-up access, website hosting, website development, and internet marketing. We serve Grand Marais, Gunflint Trail, Hovland, Grand Portage, Lutsen, Sawbill Trail, Schroeder, Tofte and surrounding areas.
Boreal Access uses the Internet to enhance communications, education, research, and economic development for the residents of Cook County, Minnesota. A local call allows members full access to the World Wide Web, E-mail, news groups, and other Internet services.
Boreal Access is run by a volunteer board of directors. All online users are members. If you would like more information or are interested in joining Boreal Access as a member or as a board member, or if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions please contact us.
