Today I hit the trails pretty hard, hoping to find the ballance between mush and ice. I think I got it, it was starting to freeze up as the sun went down. All trails were groomed for skate and classic skiing. Should be great skiing this week, happy to see some colder temperatures.
 

Great to have all the high school racers up at Pincushion on Friday! We've got a great crew of volunteers, couldn't have done it without you! Thanks to WTIP and crew for putting the event on the air and web!
This morning the skate lanes were groomed on West Overlook, Upper and Lower Snowman, and Pincushion Loop. Classic tracks are mostly intact, watch for a few corners where they have washed out a little bit. Things will be fast in the mornings and soften up in the afteroons during this freeze thaw cycle.

3" of new snow fell on Monday, grooming finished up in the early morning hours on Tuesday. All trails have been groomed for classic and skate skiing. The warming house is open from 10-9 each day and the lights stay on until 10pm, it is going to b a great week, hope to see you all out there! On a side note, it had started to snow when I was wrapping up, might have to repeat the entire process tomorrow!

All skate lanes were refreshed this morning, tracks have about 1/10" of new snow, should ski pretty well.

All trails except Bed & Breakfast and East overlook were groomed this morning. I know I am biased, being the groomer, but today it wil be worth cutting out of work early to ski! Best conditions of the year so far!
 

Did a shorter grooming session tonight, due to the forecasted snow tomorrow.
East & West Overlook, Upper & Lower Snowman, Bed and Breakfast, Canyon Curves were all groomed for classic and skating.
The rest of the system is good classic skiing with 1-2" of fresh snow on the skate lanes.
