All trails are packed, rolled & tracked in the Bally Creek Trail system except the Bally Creek loop which is packed & rolled and will be tracked on Wednesday.  The Ski thru to
Cascade Park is open, but watch for some slush at the creek crossings and
lots of animal tracks.  Some trail map signs have disappeared and will be replaced
as soon as possible.

The public parking lot is plowed and open.

Snow depth is 22" with a 12" packed base.  U.S. Forest Service Rd. 158 has
been groomed for skate skiing and is also tracked for classic skiing and is
closed to vehicle traffic from Bally Creek Cabins North to the Corridor Trail.

Also please note that dogs and sleds are not allowed on the groomed ski trail.
There is a one kilometer trail for skijoring that you can ski with your dog...when you
get to the end of it, you must turn around and come back, there is no circular route.
The skijoring trail starts at the public parking lot south of the main trailhead.

A Minnesota Ski Pass is required and can be purchased at any of the gas stations in the county.

Thank you for your cooperation.
