Bally Creek Trails have all been groomed Jan. 9 & 10, with all trails in excellent condition with a base of 14” to 16”.  Bally Creek Loop has some hanging tree branches from ice and heavy snow…may be a few head bangers, so keep your eyes open.  Truck traffic has ended on FS l58, and the road has been set with classic tracks on one side and a skating lane on the other.

The ski-thru to Cascade has been packed, but no tracks due to lack of depth of snow, some grass showing, and Upper Cascade trail had not been groomed as of 1/10/15.
MN Ski Pass required, please use the public parking lot, and not cabin parking spots at the Trailhead.
Donations for plowing the public lot are gratefully accepted in the box provided at the lot.  Thank you!

All trails are groomed except the Bally Creek Loop and the Ski Thru to Cascade because of lack of snow south of Co. Rd. 45.  Trails set up good, trails are groomed for classic skiing.  Public parking lot has been plowed.  We are in the process of repairing trail signs, that have been damaged, so some signs are missing.  If you have questions, call David Williams at 218-370-1071.  Trails look great for early skiing and have a hard base.
