Spring 2008 Road Restrictions

NOTICE TO HAULERS
Seasonal Road restrictions will go into effect 12:01 a.m., Thursday, March 20, 2008, and will
remain in effect until the postings are removed. All Cook County roads will be limited to 5 tons
per axle unless posted otherwise. These restrictions will remain in effect for a minimum of eight
weeks. After that period, road restrictions will be lifted on a case-by-case basis as conditions
dictate. The following roads will be posted as follows:      10 Tons per Axle
C.S.A.H. #12 - Jct, T.H. 61 to Hedstrom Mill on New Gunflint Alignment
9 Tons per Axle
C.S.A.H. #7 - Jct, C.S.A.H. # 12 west to Jct. T.H. #61
C.S.A.H. #5 - Jct. T.H. #61 to End
C.S.A.H. #4 - Jct. T.H. #61 to End of bituminous
C.S.A.H. #8 - Jct, C.S.A.H. #12 to Mile 1.5
7 Tons per Axle
C.S.A.H. #12 - Hedstrom's Mill to Seagull Lake
C.S.A.H. #17 - Mineral Center to Hat Point
C.S.A.H. #18 - Jct, C.S.A.H. #8 to 3.5 miles west
C.S.A.H. #73 - Jct, T.H. #61 to Jct. C.S.A.H. #17
C.S.A.H. #8 - Mile 1.5 to C.R. #57
