How well do you know your audience? How are you doing at connecting with them online? Understanding who our customers are and where best to reach them is essential for maximizing your business potential. This interactive workshop will walk you through some basic steps to be sure you are dialed into who your audience is and what online resources are best for you. We'll also cover recent trends in social media and changes to platforms that impact online business marketing. As a bonus, you'll learn 5 Important Lessons for Small Business Social Media Management.

Workshop attendees will learn to:

Target customers that are most likely to use their goods and services
Assess how their businesses are currently connecting to customers on-line
Decide which platforms and tools are best for their businesses
Adjust to current changes in social media platforms
Create a plan to increase online interaction and conversion of customers


Jerritt Johnston is the owner of True North Consultants, a leadership development and organizational consulting business. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has spent his professional career training adults and youth. He has held leadership positions in for-profit and non-profit organizations and he brings that unique experience to his training. He lives in Ely with his family and loves to be in the woods, no matter the season.
