Pink people and a pirate on the Gunflint Trail this weekend
There is always craziness at the Mush for a Cure. Where else do you see grown men and women garbed in pink, competing for the “most outrageous pink outfit”? Adding to the madness of Mush for a Cure this year is the appearance of a pirate!
Sarah Hamilton of Trail Center Lodge has recruited the Minnesota Captain Jack Sparrow. The “pirate” will be appearing on the ice in front of Trail Center from 2 – 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 10. You may never get another opportunity to see a mushing pirate, so don’t miss the fun!
There is lots, lots more. Visit the News-Herald website at www.cookcountynews-herald.com to see the schedule or the official website www.mushforacure.com.
