The Silver Bay/Cook County Peewees braved the white out conditions on Friday evening to get to their first game down the shore at the Two Harbors tournament.  Friday nights game was a tight one against the team from Hibbing but we came out on top with a 5 - 3 victory.  Saturday afternoon we met a very evenly matched Two Harbors team but again claimed a 4 - 2 victory and were headed to the championship game on Sunday afternoon vs. Centennial.  This game was a tough loss as we out shot and out skated them but just couldn't catch a break.  Peewees had a great weekend of hockey and brought home the 2nd place trophy!

This group is pumped as they get the opportunity to skate at the brand new Amsoil Arena facility in Duluth on Tuesday playing the Duluth Lakers and then are hosting a home tournament in Silver Bay next weekend, with five of the eight teams participating being from the cities.  Looks like another great week of hockey action for the peewees!  Good Luck Boys!!
