Higher Ed encourages businesses to sign up for "Profit Master Workshop"

A Profit Master Workshop is being offered by Higher Education at an incredibly low price thanks to a grant from the University of Minnesota Center for Economic Development. If you have always wanted to take this and could not, now you can!

BRS develops client relationships and strategic partnerships with organizations that serve closely-held businesses. They deliver unique and powerful financial management programs, products and services to business owners and management that contribute to their overall success.

This hands-on workshop include the following topics: Overcoming common business problems; using tools to take active control; planning for transition; understanding your financial position; making effective pricing decisions; leveraging financial resources; and putting it all together.

Jennifer Pontinen and Sandi Larson are the facilitators for the workshop, which will be held Feb. 5 and 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cook County Higher Education, 300 W. 3rd St., Grand Marais.
