Grand Portage Domestic Violence Advocate
Grand Portage Human Services is looking for a Domestic Violence Advocate that is responsible for and direction of advocacy for victims of domestic violence. Work concurrently with other staff and advocate volunteers. Must have knowledge of available resources, cultural diversity, native culture and traditional values. Must be aware of specific services related to battered partners and legal process. Must be comfortable working with the justice system and be able to provide community education and lead groups. Be able to develop the appropriate proposals and adhere to the provisions of the grants, including timely of activities reports, evaluations and budget preparation.
