Cook County lost 14-1 to Two Harbors Wednesday at Arleigh Jorgenson Field despite Kale Boomer's two-hit day at the dish. Mark Pearson recorded the win for Two Harbors. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Two Harbors pounded Cook County pitching, as six hitters combined for 10 hits, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored. The Vikings contributed to the dismantling by issuing 10 walks to the Agate hitters. Two Harbors never trailed after scoring two runs in the first on a fielder's choice and a wild pitch. Two Harbors added five more runs in the top of the third. A error scored Brad Myrdal and Steve Frikken to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Jesse Omtvedt's double, scoring Kempffer.

The lone run of the game for Cook County crossed the plate in the third inning on an RBI double by Mike Sjogren.
