Girls 12U played in a ten team tournament in Cloquet this weekend. First
game was Friday night vs. Edina, the number three seed in the State. Girls
held the game to a two two tie until midway through the third period when
Edina took over and scored three quick goals in the last six minutes of the
game. It was a tough loss for the girls as they stuck with Edina through
most of the game.

was a tight game with only one goal scored by Cook County's Madison Roy. The
1-0 victory for Silver Bay was a also a great shutout victory for Cook
County's Sara Carman in goal.

Game Three was played Saturday night vs another Metro team, St. Paul
Johnson. While the girls got down quick by three goals in the first minutes
of the game, they rebounded nicely and while the ended up with a three two
loss, this was yet another game that was a fight to the finish!

Game Four was played on Sunday morning and was the 7th place game vs. Chisago
Lakes and yet another fight to the finish. Chisago got up two to zero in
this game but the Mariner girls rebounded nicely with a breakaway goal by
Cook County's Carrie Palmer. This final game of the tournament ended in a
